Our goal is to help couples navigate the financial hurdles of divorce and formulate ideas that can lead to agreements that will stand the test of time. We help to resolve your financial disputes in divorce as efficiently and expeditiously as possible. We work with divorcing couples, preparing financial affidavits and guiding them in managing budgetary needs, family goal priorities, liabilities management and income preservation. We educate and empower both men and women about the divorce process with compassion and empathy during this raw emotional time. And, we help each person navigate the gray space of the unknown future by guiding them in answering their questions, such as "Will I be okay after divorce?”
Sharon Count received her Certified Divorce Financial Analyst® designation from the Institute for Divorce Financial Analysts™. She received her Divorce Mediation Certification from Northwestern University’s School of Professional Studies. And, Sharon is an Associate Member of the Association of Divorce Financial Planners.
Sharon Count was a client of the Cook County court system for over 10.5 years in her own extensive divorce proceedings, including two trials in the circuit court and an appellate court appeal. Ultimately, mediation was the solution.
Sharon's office is in Northfield, Illinois, allows her to help in Cook, DuPage, Lake and McHenry County divorces. She also assists clients in Indiana and Iowa.
Sharon and her husband, Kevin, reside in Glenview, Illinois, have two sons and two daughters, and enjoy the Chicago Botanic Gardens.
