Then, you may be asked to replenish the retainer or be billed monthly for additional hours. The average divorce ranges from 15 hours to 80 hours. The average mediated case cost is $2500-$3500.00. Any remaining retainer will be refunded within 30 days of the completion of the engagement.
1) Mediation: If you and your spouse wish to hire us for mediation services, you will both hire us to act as your Mediator. Since we will be acting in a neutral capacity to help you make financial and/or parenting decisions together, we advise that you each hire a mediation-friendly attorney to assist you understanding your individual legal rights. We can provide a list of attorneys to help.

• Second Meeting: In-Person meetings and follow-up conference call meetings are provided at an hourly rate of $200, requiring an initial retainer of $2,000, to cover the first 10 hours of services. • Third Meeting and Future Meetings: Meetings together to resolving your divorce are billed at an hourly rate of $200.
If you are involved in litigation (court) and need support for financial requirements of your case, you may hire us directly, or have your divorce attorney hire us as a consultant. This may include helping you with “discovery,” preparing your financial affidavit, doing a marital standard of living (lifestyle) analysis, preparing a marital net worth balance sheet, performing child support and spousal support calculations, and completing interrogatories. Services are provided at an hourly rate of $200, requiring an initial retainer of $2,000, to cover the first 10 hours of services. A retainer payment of $2,000 and new client paperwork is due at the first meeting.
If you and your spouse have decided collaborative divorce is best for you, you will both hire us to be a Financial Neutral and we will be a part of your collaborative team. Services are provided at an hourly rate of $200, requiring an initial retainer of $2,000, to cover the first 10 hours of services. A retainer payment of $2,000 and new client paperwork due at first meeting.
We can help you with post-divorce planning, such as transitioning investments, renaming beneficiaries, creating a budget and expense flow chart, determining refinancing options and performing true-ups. Services are provided at an hourly rate of $200.
Personal financial planning is a comprehensive evaluation of a client’s current and future financial state, by using currently know variables to predict future cash flows, asset values and withdrawal plans. The personal financial plan includes cash flow, debt management, college savings and planning, employee benefits optimization, estate planning (in conjunction with an estate planning attorney), insurance, investment analysis, retirement planning, risk management, and tax efficiency planning. It is a one-time flat fee, based upon the scope and complexity of the financial engagement, typically between $2,500-$6,000. This fee and the scope of the assignment are agreed to in writing before the engagement begins.
